Scientist Stephen Hawking, passed away on March 14, 2018 in Cambridge. He was 76. He was a great scientist and an extraordinary man whose work and legacy will live on for many years. His courage and persistence with his brilliance and humour inspired people across the world.

ICICI Bank has launched instant overdraft ‘InstaOD’ facility for MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) customers in a completely online and paperless manner. Customers can get overdraft facility up to Rs 15 lakh for a year anytime, anywhere using the bank’s Internet and mobile banking app.
AP stands at 51st position in Poverty Index
Andhra Pradesh stands at 51st rank globally in Multidimensional Poverty Index according to a household survey conducted in the state. Andhra Pradesh becomes the first Indian state to conduct a household survey at state and district level to estimate the multidimensional poverty of the state. The study was conducted by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh in collaboration with University of Oxford, UK.

Every year 14 March is observed as the International Pi Day across the world. Pi Day is observed on 14 March (3/14 in the American month/day date format) since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant digits of π. On 14th March 2018, it is the 30th anniversary of the Pi Day.
Indian economy to grow at 7.3% in FY19: World Bank
The World Bank projected India’s GDP growth at 7.3% for the next financial year and accelerate further to seven point five per cent in 2019-20. India’s Growth Story, expects the economy to grow at a rate of 6.7 per cent in the current financial year ending March 31, 2018.
